Article Marketing – 6 Hot Tips To Get Your Article Read and Found

Article MarketingArticle marketing is great way to enhance your online marketing business.  Articles can be instrumental in driving traffic to your website. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your potential customers which will eventually lead them to your site.

Articles have to be written to be read. It’s just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles can be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site. To make sure that your articles get read, enjoyed and found, here are six red hot tips. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting.

Article Marketing Tip #1 – Attention Grabbing Title

You must have a good attention-grabbing title. If your title can entice a person’s curiosity then you are halfway to getting a person to read your article. You should use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your article’s content but should also be short and concise.

Use titles like, “<X> Tips on making <X>”, or “How <X>”. You can also use titles that command people, for example, “Make <X> in <X> Easy Ways”. These types of titles reach out to a person’s emotions and make them interested.

Article Marketing Tip #2 – Keywords and Keyword Phrases

An article must always be centered on keywords and keyword phrases. If someone is looking for something then they usually go to a search engine and type in the keywords they are looking for.

The important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must have articles about cars and their parts.  You can use Google Keyword tool to determine what keywords to use and what to write about.

Article Marketing Tip #3 – Keyword Density

Once you know your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to “feel” its presence. Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used in an article divided by the total number of words.  An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. Articles should have a ten to fifteen percent keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as “keyword stuffing”. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Article Marketing Tip #4 – Sub-Headings

You should use sub-headings to subdivide your paragraphs on the page. Doing this will break each point into sections but it will be still incorporated into one article. It will be easier for the reader to move from one point to another. Since the article will be easier to read, you won’t lose your reader’s attention.

Article Marketing Tip #5 – Good Article Content

Your article must include good content.  You cannot just riddle an article with a bunch of keywords. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information. Articles should be written with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People tend to like figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As people start to believe in you, they will also trust you and your products. You need to keep your readers interested from the start to finish. From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive your points.

Article Marketing Tip #6 – Good Resource Box

A resource box should always include a brief description of your site and you should be placed at the end of your article. Incorporate it as part of your article instead of it looking like it is separate. If people like your article, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site, opt-in or offer.
